Rui lived his childhood in Mozambique, in a territory lost in the depths of the bush, close to the wild nature, on the border of a mysterious river. Son of Portuguese settlers, he soon learned to recognize two different realities and emotions - that of Europe and that of Africa. His life was marked by a permanent option between two banks; two cultures; white and black; the "boss" and the "slave"; violence and peace; love and passion ... At fourteen, faced with the tragic and inevitable destruction of his childhood, Rui Pedro will choose his bank, among the many banks of the river.
